The Hutch Project

Hey friends, old & new!!

This portion of my page is going to be dedicated to what I am going to be calling “The Hutch Project” I will be documenting our journey in buying land and building our dream home.

I have always wanted to build a home for myself, something what was true to my taste with all the things I have ever dreamed of. Since I am a single mom that dream does feel to be slightly just a dream. I started my photography business to put myself in a better position financially so I could make that dream come true.

I made list of pieces of land I would dream of owning even homes that looked vacant that I could see the potential in renovating, but my heart stuck with building. I set a goal for myself in the beginning of 2025 that by Christmas I wanted to own a piece of land. I did not really care how big it was, I just wanted something. I set goals with my photography and exceeded those, I added more wedding to my calendar, and I booked more sessions each month.

This piece of land doesn’t end with a home; it’s the foundation for my business. I plan on utilizing my home with a studio, the land for some amazing back drops and expanding my business as much as possible!

Another Day Another Dollar well Spent is our slogan because I fully intend on building our dream house with very little lending from the bank. With a social media presence and our YouTube channel I hope that we can use that little bit of income to buy a little more for our home. We will be selling shirts as well and the boys and I will hand make as they are ordered.
