This photo was taken at the staircase to Robinson Falls next to Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve in Bremen, OH.

This remote location requires a permit but it’s well worth the wait. With a tiny hike to a wooden staircase which leads to a viewing flatform, you can view Robinson Falls. I totally suggest taking a seat and really soak up all the wonderful sounds of nature, it truly is a magical place all year around.

This particular day we had a light snowfall the night before, I hadn’t been here in the winter, so this was a new experience. After some time capturing the waterfall from different angles, I wasn’t pleased with any of the snow-covered pictures I took. I called it a wrap, when leaving I wanted to record the trail back to the road, as I started up the staircase I paused. I pulled out my camera and snapped the picture that turned out to be the best picture from this trip. It’s simple.
